With Sanctified, book three in the Matawapit Family Series, due for release pretty darn quick, I thought I’d share one more excerpt. As for Renewed, book four in the series, I am now on my final round of self-edits, and will be submitting this manuscript to my publisher pretty, pretty quick! My fingers are crossed …
Today is another edition of WIP (work in progress) Wednesday. When I last posted. I’d submitted my manuscript (Sanctified), book three in the Matawapit Family Series, to my publisher eXtasy Books. I’m now deep in edits. I don’t have a target publication date yet, but once I do, you’ll be the first to know. As …
It’s time for another addition of WIP (work in progress) Wednesday. I’m currently working on self-edits for Sanctified, book three in the Matawapit Family Series. I plan on submitting the manuscript to my publisher at the end of July. Update: I’ve since submitted Sanctified to my publisher. I’m now currently working on self-edits for Renewed, …
By the time this post is live, I’ll either be knee-deep in edits with Sanctified and readying the third book in the Matawapit Family Series for submission to my publisher, or I might be continuing to fast-draft Renewed, the fourth and final book in the series. As of May 31st, I’ve written 65K for this …
With Sanctified fully drafted and now needing edits, and Redeemed this-close to being sent out into the world of book retailers, I thought I’d post an excerpt from Sanctified, book three in the Matawapit Family Series. The Matawapit Family Series: In the wilds of Northwestern Ontario, the adult children of a domineering Ojibway church deacon …
I’m writing this blog on February 9th. I’m in edits with eXasty Books as we work on the release for Redeemed. So I thought I’d do a post of Sanctified, the third book in the Matawapit Family Series. I’m 72,705 words into my first draft. The joys of writing. Wait on edits from editor, and …
Now that Redeemed has been submitted, my goal is to finalize the first draft of Sanctified, book three in the Matawapit Family Series, starring eldest child Jude and family enemy Raven Kabatay. Sanctified was my project for NaNoWriMo (where writers writer 50k+ words in one month during November). So far, I have 60K done. I’ll …

The Matawapit Family Series: In the wilds of Northwestern Ontario, the …
Well, well, well…I’m this-close to subbing Redeemed, book two in the Matawapit Family Series. I’m on round number six of edits. Then I’ll polish. I’m anticipating subbing to the publisher mid-January. The Matawapit Family Series: In the wilds of Northwestern Ontario, the adult children of a domineering Ojibway church deacon find their faiths crumbling and …
As I mentioned before, I schedule posts way ahead of time. Today, it’s the 18th and this post will go live on the 28th. By then, I’ll have received my critique back for Redeemed. Then I’ll begin working on edits come December 1st. For November, please see my previous WIP Wednesday, because I’m participating in …
I won. Yes, as of November 25th, I completed a total of 50,851 words. In my previous NaNo update, I mentioned I was shooting for 60k by the end of the month. If I write 2k a day, which I have been since November 15th, I’ll meet this goal. I’m on chapter eighteen for Sanctified, …
In my last WIP Wednesday post, I mentioned I was completing round three of edits. Since I schedule my posts, I’ll be done round four by the time this goes live. Once my edits are done, it’s off for a critique. When the crit is done, I’ll do one more pass before sending the manuscript …
Yes, I’m participating. So I thought I’d give a quick update of my writing goals and progress until the end of the year. As you know, Blessed was released on July 06, 2018, the first book in the Matawapit Family Trilogy. At the end of October, I finished the fourth draft for Redeemed, Book Two, …

I thought I’d try something different today by posting an excerpt from the current WIP (Work in Progress) that I’m working on. Redeemed is the second book in the Matawapit Family Trilogy: In the wilds of Northwestern Ontario, the secular world challenges the adult children of a perfect Catholic family headed by a full-blooded, domineering …
Over the weekend, the wonderful artist at eXtasy Books sent me a copy of my book cover for Blessed. The potential release date is June 15th.
