Romancing Canada's Indigenous People

I’m on pins and needles, waiting for the release of Renewed, book four in the Matawapit Family Series.  I received an official publication date of February 7, 2020 from my publisher eXtasy Books.  So here is another excerpt to whet your appetite.

Before I continue, and if you’ve read my previous WIP Wednesday post, I am proud to say both short stories I mentioned, Dressed for Success and After the Snow Melts, are now in the editing stages with my publisher.  Whee!

Since I post in advance (and it’s Christmas Eve morning LOL), I’ll have started on my next full-length novel project.  More news will be forthcoming in another update.

The Matawapit Family Series:  In the wilds of Northwestern Ontario, the adult children of a domineering Ojibway church deacon find their faiths crumbling and their beliefs faltering when a vengeful former lover, an ex-fiancé out on parole, and a seductive family enemy challenge Emery, Bridget, and Jude in a duel of love, loyalty, and values that threatens to destroy their perfect Catholic lives and family.

From New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 to New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1, 2020, the blog will be closed.  I want to thank everyone who supported my web site over the past year whether guesting, commenting, or providing me with a book to review.  It’s very much appreciated.

Happy New Year

Today, I have author Sara Dobie Bauer in the interview chair.  We discuss her latest release, We Still Live, a m/m contemporary romance.  I’m also reviewing her book, so read what I have to say about her new novel that takes readers deep into trauma and love.

With Renewed, book four in the Matawapit Family Series and the sequel to Sanctified, coming soon, I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at what’s in store for Jude Matawapit and his lovely leading lady Raven Kabatay.

Before I post the excerpt, I thought I’d let you know what I’m currently working on.  Because I schedule posts waaay ahead of time (it’s Nov 14th today), I should have submitted both short stories to eXtasy Books by now.  One is a contemporary, interracial romance called Dressed for Success, and the other is a LGBT, YA contemporary romance, with the working title of After the Snow Melts.
