My-Review

I’ve previously reviewed two of Wendy’s titles, Prey and The Slave Palace.  When I came across Wendy’s Facebook post, offering a free sample of Master of Halloween, featuring Wulf and Locke from The Slave Palace, I jumped at the chance to read and review this title, because I wanted to see how their relationship would play out.

I’ll do my best to avoid spoilers if you haven’t read The Slave Palace.  And if you haven’t read it, by all means, read it.  It’s a great book.

I had a lot of questions after The Slave Palace ended, and they were all answered in this short story.

First, the writing, as always, is wonderful.  Wendy brings me into her world that she creates, whether on earth or a distant planet.  The relationship between Wulf and Locke was well done as a couple who have spent a good quality of time together.  And what Locke does for Wulf made me adore him all the more (as if I didn’t adore him enough already).  He is truly the best master anyone could ask for.  And Wulf’s reaction to the “surprise” was in true Wulf style.

The sex scenes are hot.  The dialogue is well done.  It’s a wonderful short story that is a great companion piece to The Slave Palace.

Wendy, as always, uses the utmost care and respect when it comes to writing about the BDSM lifestyle.  If you haven’t read The Slave Palace, I urge you to. And if you have read The Slave Palace, Wendy is offering Master of Halloween at Prolific Works.  Be sure to head on over and download yourself a copy.  I highly recommend this story.

Have you read The Slave Palace and Master of Halloween?  If so, do you agree with my review?  If you haven’t read either story, are you willing to now?
