Today, I’m reviewing Prey by Wendy Rathbone, a m/m, science fiction, BDSM, abduction, non-con romance.

By the time this post is live, I’ll either be knee-deep in edits with Sanctified and readying the third book in the Matawapit Family Series for submission to my publisher, or I might be continuing to fast-draft Renewed, the fourth and final book in the series. As of May 31st, I’ve written 65K for this book. And I’m debating whether to keep going or work on edits for Sanctified.
WIP Wednesday
The Matawapit Family Series: In the wilds of Northwestern Ontario, the adult children of a domineering Ojibway church deacon find their faiths crumbling and their beliefs faltering when a vengeful former lover, an ex-fiancé out on parole, and a seductive family enemy challenge Emery, Bridget, and Jude in a duel of love, loyalty, and values that threatens to destroy their perfect Catholic lives and family.
Here is Teaser 3 for Sanctified:
Note:Â Keep in mind this is from my first draft, so this could all change during edits.

Today, I’m reviewing Let Your Heart Decide, a m/m contemporary romance by Lily G. Blunt.

My inspiration for writing the Matawapit Family Series came from the many talks I had with my Dad, who attended two. The purpose of these schools was to assimilate Canada’s First People into Western society. The schools had a devastating impact on the aboriginal population. The Matawapit Family Series touches on the intergenerational trauma the people continue to experience. Throughout the years, many Indigenous people have shared their stories, which I did a previous blog post about called Canada’s Indian Residential Schools.
I asked my father to guest blog today and speak about his experience as we celebrate the release of the second book in the series, Redeemed. Don’t forget to enter the Raffelcopter giveaway at the end of the post.

Today, I’m reviewing Perilous Hearts, book three in the Deviant Hearts series by A E Ryecart, a m/m romantic thriller.

Today, I’m reviewing Forbidden Territory (prequel to Heir) and Heir, books two in the Sons of the Alpha series by Addison Carmichael.

Today, I’m reviewing Extrication and Virama, books one and two in the Veiled Eliminator series by fellow eXasty Books authors Gabrielle Bradley and Taryn Jameson.

Today, I’m reviewing Sai Fox’s first book in the Valentino Family series, On Hands and Knees, a m/m contemporary mafia romance.

Today, I’m reviewing fellow eXtasy Books author Denise Wheatley‘s Valentine’s Day release My Unconditional Valentine, book two in the Holiday Chronicles.

With Sanctified fully drafted and now needing edits, and Redeemed this-close to being sent out into the world of book retailers, I thought I’d post an excerpt from Sanctified, book three in the Matawapit Family Series.

I’m writing this blog on February 9th. I’m in edits with eXasty Books as we work on the release for Redeemed. So I thought I’d do a post of Sanctified, the third book in the Matawapit Family Series. I’m 72,705 words into my first draft. The joys of writing. Wait on edits from editor, and while waiting, you keep fast-drafting the other book. I’m almost there, because I’m shooting for 94k.
