Blurb: After years of navigating a life filled with blood and deception, Luca and Giada have finally found solace in each other’s arms. But peace is fleeting, and the shadows of their past are closing in.
Luca has fought for everything he holds dear—his family, his empire, and most of all, Giada. But with enemies lurking on every corner, their love is under constant threat. This is the ninth and final book in the Mafiosa Princess saga. Giada, Luca, and Adrian are at a crossroads, and they must decide which path is best for them.
For Giada, I really enjoyed her in this final novel. She has come a long way from the start of the series. Yes, she tends to revert to her old ways, but I did not mind, because she wouldn’t be Giada if she didn’t react instead of thinking first. Some traits stick with us well into adulthood, and this is a biggie for her.
Luca has also come a long way, and what he had to face really helped build his character. I won’t say what he had to face or I’ll spoil it for others, but I wouldn’t have wanted to be in his shoes. And I found he handled this brilliantly. Yes, he stumbled a few times, but he kept his sight on the target and never let anything stop him.
As for Adrian, oh boy, if this book is called Redemption, I can’t say it’s a fitting title for him. I won’t say what decision he made or what happened, but he is sucked deep in a path he can no longer get off of.
The romance between Giada and Luca was wonderful. They really persevered to find a happy ending for themselves.
But something else lurks… does this mean there will be a new saga? I am not sure, because there are two loose ends, even though Giada and Luca got their HEA. We’ll have to wait and see.
The novel was a great way to tie up everything for the series regarding Giada and Luca. Do yourself a favour and start the series. I really enjoyed reading the romance between Luca and Giada.
